Mardi Himal ClimbingMardi Himal is the most beautiful southern peak of the Annapurna range. Mardi Himal is the barely climbed peak and separates the south-west edge of Machhapuchhre also known as Mount Fishtail and it is perfectly seen from the South. The southwest face of the peak has three well-defined edges towering from the rock walls and divided by hanging glaciers. Its east face is spitted from the Machhapuchhre (Mount Fishtail) edge by a Col at 5200m. The normal climbing path to the peak of Mardi Himal passes via the col. The pinnacle offers a breathtaking view of the Annapurna Himalayan Range.

Spectacular views of Lamjung ranges, Annapurna ranges, picturesque village and diverse community with the majority of Gurung, Tamang, Bramhin and magnificent hilly landscapes will mesmerize you during the trek. This is one of the perfect treks that allow you to observe natural beauty and wild life as well. Nepalese national bird- Pheasant, national flowers- Rhododendron, Musk deer, Himalayan Thar, spotted deer, snow leopard and many more wild life and several herbs, wild flower greets you in this region.

Mardi Himal Climbing itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu airport, warm reception and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Stay in Kathmandu for the official procedure and packing, overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Six hours scenic drive or 30 minutes flight to Pokhara, overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Drive to Phedi and then start trek to Pothana, overnight at Guest house.
Day 05: Trek to Forest Camp, overnight at tented camp.
Day 06: Trek to Bhaisi Kharka, overnight at tented camp.
Day 07: Trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp, overnight at tented camp.
Day 08: Climb to Mardi Himal High Camp, overnight at tented camp.
Day 09: Summit Mardi Himal and back to Base Camp, overnight at tented camp.
Day 10: Trek back to Forest Camp, overnight at tented camp.
Day 11: Trek to Siding village, overnight at tented camp.
Day 12: Trek to Mardi Pul, overnight at tented camp.
Day 13: Trek to Hyangja and drive out to Pokhara, overnight at hotel.
Day 14: Drive back to Kathmandu, overnight at hotel.
Day 15: Leisure day in Kathmandu, in the evening join a farewell dinner, overnight at hotel.
Day 16: Final transfer to airport, flight back home.
