Mt. Kumbakarna peak climbing Mt. Kumbakarna is the world’s 34th highest mountain lies in the western part of Nepal which is about 11 km away from west summit of Mt. Kanchenjunga. It is also known as Mt. Jannu and it is a large and steep peak in its own right, and has numerous challenging climbing routes. Jannu is the highest peak of the Kumbakarna Section of the Mount Kanchenjunga, which straddles the border between Nepal and India, and lies entirely within Nepal. A long ridge connects it with Kanchenjunga to the east. It was first climbed in 1962 by a team led by the French alpinist Lionel Terrey.

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu airport, warm reception and transfer to hotel.  
Day 02: Prepare for climbing & briefing.
Day 03: Flight: KTM - Suketar, - Tambawa camp
Day 04: Tambawa - Khesewa, camp
Day 05: Khesewa - Mamankhe, camp
Day 06: Mamakhe – Yamphudin 1670m, camp
Day 07: Yamphudin – Chittre (Omje Khola) camp
Day 08: Chittre – Torontan camp
Day 09: Torontan – Tseram camp
Day 10: Tseram – Ramze camp
Day 11: Ramze – Kumbhakarna Base camp
Day 12: Advanced base camp
Day 13 –30: Climbing period Kumbhakarna 7710m.
Day 31: Kumbhakarna BC - Yellung
Day 32: Yallung - Lamite Bhanjhyang, camp
Day 33: Lamite Bhanjyang - Yamphudin, camp
Day 34: Yamphuding – Phonpe Dhara, camp
Day 35: Phonpe Dhara - Khunjar, camp
Day 36: Khunjar - Suketar
Day 37: Suketar – Biratnagar – KTM flight & Transfer hotel
Day 38 Rest day at Kathmandu, in the evening join the fare well dinner with culture show.
Day 39: Final departure, transfer to airport, fly back to home.
