Nepal Adventure tour – itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu airport:
Arrive at Kathmandu airport, meet one of our representatives then transfer to hotel. Rest of the time will be on your own for relax and refreshing. Overnight at hotel
Day 2: Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley:
Breakfast at hotel then start a full day sightseeing in UNESCO heritage sites. Sightseeing at Bouddhanath- World biggest stupa, one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimages where all devout Buddhists come for a pilgrimage, Kathmandu Durbar Square- the medieval Kings palace who ruled the Kathmandu Kingdom, here we visit Hanuman Dhoka Palace, temples, Kumari Ghar which is dedicated to living goddess Kumari. Syambhunath; the monkey Temple from where you can watch the marvelous views of Kathmandu Valley and tribute to Buddhism. Rest of the time is free on your own. Overnight at hotel.
Day3: Kathmandu – White Water Rafting – Pokhara:
After breakfast drive to Pokhara, on the way we will stop for an adventure rafting trip, It takes approx two and half hours drive to reach rafting starting point Charaudi.. After safety briefing given by our river guide, we start rafting and stop for lunch in between. After lunch we start rafting for another two hours and end our adventure trip at Fishling from where we catch a bus ride to Pokhara. Four hours drive. Arrive pokhara and overnight at a hotel.
Day 4: Pokhara – Tikhedhunga 4 hrs walking:
After breakfast, two hours drive to trekking starting point; the guide escorts you and drives to Nayapool. We start trek to Tikhedunga. After 20 minutes short walk along the bank of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1060m) a large village that has many shops & teahouses. From there, the trail continues through the village. The trail follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. From there, the trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hiley at 1490m and after the short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga at 1530m. The first day trek is a short and relatively easy. Overnight at a lodge.
Day5: Tikhedunga – Ghorepani – 6 hrs walking:
Leaving Tikhedunga, we begin our journey with stone steep climb to Ulleri. Ulleri is a large Magar village at 2070m. Then the trail continues to ascend more gently, through fine forests of oak and rhododendron towards Banthanti at 2250m. Then we make our trek towards Nangethanti at 2460m. After an hour walk we will reach to Ghorepani at 2775m. Overnight at a lodge.
Day 6: Ghorepani – Poonhill – Tadapani – 5 hrs walking:
Today morning, we will get up early in the morning about 4: AM, and start hiking to Poon Hill for breathtaking sunrise. From Poon Hill we will see stunning view of sunrise, and panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail, and so on. After Poon Hill trip, we will come back to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast, and continue 5 hours walking to Tadapani. Overnight at a lodge.
Day7: Tadapani – Ghandruk – 4hrs walking:
This day starts with short downhill. Leaving Tadapani, we descend steeply through forests and then the trail eases as we reach Ghandrunk (2000m), which is the village of Gurung people, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal, have their own dialect, typical culture, costume, and life style. This village is one of the popular tourist destinations that offer the beautiful mountain views and having easy connection with Pokhara or Kathmandu. Overnight at a lodge.
Day 8: Ghandruk – Tolka – 4 hrs walking:
Today we begin our journey, from Ghandruk offering another Gurung village Landruk and finally to Tolka. Overnight at lodge.
Day 9: Tolka – Pokhara:
Today we begin our journey walking all downhill to Pothana, Dhampus and finally Phedi which takes around 4 hours walk. Then 20 minutes drive to Pokhara; the beautiful city. Check in hotel. In the evening boating in fewa lake and strolling around lake side.
Day 10: Pokhara sightseeing:
After breakfast in the morning, explore the Pokhara city. Sightseeing at Devi’s fall, Gupteshower Cave, International Mountain Museum, and small hike to world Peace Pagoda from where you can see all the Pokhara valley and beautiful Annapurna Range at a glance. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Pokhara – Chitwan national park:
After breakfast drive to Chitwan national park – 150 km, four hours drive. Check in resort, get fresh, have lunch and go for elephant ride-jungle safari. It will be 1 hour safari inside the dense forest. You will have an opportunity to see lots of Rhinos, Deer, and various kinds of birds, crocodile and many more wildlife. Return to resort, have tea/coffe and wait for evening to see Tharu cultural dance - one of the glorious moments in the resort. Overnight at a resort.
Day 12: Chitwan – Jungle activities:
Early in the morning wake up call, have tea, and go for Jungle walk. You can do canoe ride, visit elephant breeding centre and come back for lunch. In the evening go for Tharu Village Walk and sun set view from the bank of the Rapti River. Overnight at a resort.
Day13: Chitwan – Kathmandu – Nagarkot:
Early in the morning you may go for short walk to see various species of birds in the river. After breakfast, drive to airport and fly back to Kathmandu. It takes 30mins. Then further drive to Nagarkot which takes 40 minutes drive. This is very popular hillside for overnight stay. Enjoy sunset view in the evening from your room. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14: Nagarkot – Kathmandu:
Early morning enjoy the breathtaking sunrise view and the long chain of mountains from your hotel. After breakfast drive to Kathmandu. On the way, visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square; the World Heritage Site. Check in hotel and rest of time for strolling around Thamel and do some shopping. Evening, enjoy fare well dinner with culture show.
Day 15: Departure:
After breakfast, pack up and drive back to Kathmandu Airport to fly back to your home.
