Panchase Danda Trek – itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu airport
Upon your arrival meet one of our trek leaders, reception and transferred to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Drive or flight to Pokhara.
If we fly, we will have half day sightseeing. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Drive from Pokhara to Patale Kharka
Drive to the trail head near Bhumdi School on Sidhartha highway. The trail is steep through the Gurung villages of Kalabang and Bhumdi. Pass through the thick rhododendron forest and Bhumdi Deorali. The first night camp will be at Patale Kharka (1768m).
Day 4: Panchese Deorali
Walk further up to Panchase Deorali. It has nice camping place. It is also a junction of the track from Syangja, Parbat and Kaski districts. There is good view to the north.
Day 5: Bhaudare Deorali
After breakfast climb to the summit to see panoramic view of Himalayan on the north and the surrounding area. Return back to Panchase Deorali. Follow the trail that leads north. Descend to Bhaudare Deorali (1646m) on the old highway to Baglung from Pokhara.
Day 6: Naundanda (1458m)
The trail ascends towards a ridge on the north. The entire of view of Phewa Lake, Annapurna and Manaslu Himal dominate the journey through thick rhododendron forests. The trail is pleasant. It gradually descends to Naundanda (1458m).
Day 7: Pokhara
Walk on the ridge to Sarankot and descend to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8: Drive back to Kathmandu.
In the evening, join a fare well dinner offered by Alpine Eco Trek. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9: Final transfer to airport for flight back to home.

Note: If above itinerary couldn’t meet your needs, we can design a tailor-made itinerary to suit your needs. It is also possible to combine with some other activities such as white water rafting and wildlife safari.

It is a condition of joining any of our adventure trips that be protected against comprehensive expenses potential to incur due to medial issues or accidents (to include helicopter rescue, air ambulance, and treatment costs). Please be noted that we do not arrange or sell insurance.
A relaxed trip is not possible without good travel insurance. In the event of any sickness or injury, the cost of emergency treatment and evacuation is shocking. Therefore, travel insurance is strongly recommended for everyone who signs up with us. We strongly recommend that you be careful while choosing a policy as some makes special exceptions for adventure travel. Before buying your insurance make sure your insurer is aware of our adventure itinerary that you are going to undertake and is agreeable to cover all activities being undertaken in the trip. Such as if you are planning trekking or climbing/expedition in Himalayas your insurance must cover emergency air ambulance/helicopter rescue including medical expenses. For a group tours in urban areas, your insurance coverage of ambulance or helicopter rescue is not mandatory, however better to have with them too. Again, in Tibet trips there is no possibility of helicopter rescue, so no need to buy the air ambulance coverage in Tibet trips. Also, check your insurance policy firmly to even include trip cancellation, as all deposits paid are non-refundable.
Please kindly provide us your copy of insurance policy (e.g. your insurance certificate) or carry it with you while you come on the trip.
Nepal Visa Info
Visa for Nepal, you can obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. Please kindly bring two passport size photos and passport copy along with you. (Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 30 days can be obtained by paying US $ 40 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 90 days can be obtained by paying US $ 100.
