Paragliding in Nepal - Take off from Sarangkot, near Pokhara

A trip will take you over some of the best scenery on earth , as you share airspace with Himalayan Griffin Vultures, Eagles, Kites and float over villages, monasteries, temples, lakes, Jungles, with a fantastic view of the majestic Annapurna Region.
Pokhara is now an internationally recognized destination for free-flight enthusiasts. Gliding is a weather dependent sport & the flying season in Nepal commences from November through February, the month being November & December. The take-off point for these flights is Sarangkot (1592m), which also offers prime views of Phewa Lake, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Mardi Himal and the whole range at the sunrise & sunset (provided the skies are clear) & the landing as qualified pilots provide a short briefing before launching.

Day 01: Flight or drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu - O/N at hotel.
Day 02: Hiking to Sarangkot (1590m) - O/N at hotel.
Day 03: Paragliding tour - O/N at hotel in Pokhara.
Day 04: Sightseeing in Pokhara city.
Day 05: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu.
