Paragliding in Nepal - Take off from Sarangkot, near Pokhara

Paragliding in Nepal Paragliding is the most adventure activity in Nepal, it is getting famous among the exotic travelers every next day which can be a truly wonderful and fulfilling experience for the adventure seekers. A trip will take you over some of the best scenery on earth , as you share airspace with Himalayan Griffin Vultures, Eagles, Kites and float over villages, monasteries, temples, lakes, Jungles, with a fantastic view of the majestic Annapurna Region.

Pokhara is now an internationally recognized destination for free-flight enthusiasts. Gliding is a weather dependent sport & the flying season in Nepal commences from November through February, the month being November & December. The take-off point for these flights is Sarangkot (1592m), which also offers prime views of Phewa Lake, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Mardi Himal and the whole range at the sunrise & sunset (provided the skies are clear) & the landing as qualified pilots provide a short briefing before launching.

Paragliding - Itinerary :

Day 01: Flight or drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu - O/N at hotel.
Day 02: Hiking to Sarangkot (1590m) - O/N at hotel.
Day 03: Paragliding tour - O/N at hotel in Pokhara.
Day 04: Sightseeing in Pokhara city.
Day 05: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu.

Nepal Visa info
Visa for Nepal, you can obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. Please kindly bring two passport size photos and passport copy along with you. (Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 30 days can be obtained by paying US $ 40 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 90 days can be obtained by paying US $ 100.
