Tent Peak Climbing Beautiful Tent Peak also known as Tarphu Chuli is situated in the heart of Annapurna Sanctuary at an elevation of 5850 meters. The summit offers magnificent panoramic views of majestic snow-capped mountains of the Annapurna region. The beautiful landscape at the trekking part adds another reason for choosing a climb to this spectacular Tent Peak. While trekking along the fertile Modi Khola River belt, we will experience the natural grandeur as well as the cultural magnificence of most popular trekking region of Nepal. The alpine plants, lush forests, colorful flowers of lush forests, culturally rich local people and snow covered mountains would surely mesmerize us with their serene beauty. Path to the beginning of the route runs along a steep serpentine road with amazingly beautiful scenery. During the spring season, we will see the mountains tinged with red or pink. As we trek higher, we will experience why the buffer zone near the Annapurna massif is considered the most picturesque in Nepal. Moreover, the easy accessibility of the Tent Peak makes it an ideal destination for those wishing for a short trekking plus peak climbing expedition.

The Tent Peak or Tharpu Chuli Climbing trek commences from the Lake City of Pokhara in the Annapurna region. During the initial days, while trekking via Dhampus, Landruk, Chhomrong and Dobhan, enjoy the mountainous environment marveling at colorful flora and clear views of the splendid high mountains including the two eight-thousanders: Mt. Annapurna (8091 m) and Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m). Enjoy the ethnic hospitality along with the cultural magnificence of Nepal's ethnic mountain people.  Trekking further we reach MBC and ABC. The climb for Tent Peak or Tharpu Chuli starts further from ABC after reaching the Tent Peak Base Camp. After summiting the peak, return the same route until ABC from where we trek down to Dovan, Ghandurk, and Birethati, passing by waterfalls, villages and settlements, and the rhododendron forest that bloom with red flowers during the springtime. From Birethati, we drive to Pokhara which announces the end of this marvelous adventure journey.

Tent Peak Climbing itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, warm reception and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu for preparing permits and gears.
Day 03: Fly or drive to Pokhara, sightseeing and boating in the lake, visit mountaineering museum. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Drive to the trailhead Phedi, trek to Dhumpus or Pothana.
Day 05: Trek from Pathana to Landruk Village 1,646m.
Day 06: Trek from Landruk Village to Chhomrong 2,030m.
Day 07: Trek from Chhomrong to Himalaya Hotel 2,700m.
Day 08: Trek from Himalaya Hotel to Machhapuchhre Base Camp 3,757m.
Day 09: Trek to Annapurna base camp 4,130m. Or Tent peak B. C. 4400m and rest. Tented Camp.
Day 10: Ascend to Tent peak high Camp, 5000m (approx) Tented Camp.
Day 11: Tharpu Chuli (Tent Peak 5850meters) summit then back to Annapurna base camp. Overnight at guest house.
Day 12: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Dovan.
Day 13: Trek from Dovan to Chhomrong Village.
Day 14: Trek from Chhomrong to Ghandruk Village 1951m.
Day 15: Trek from Ghandruk to Birethati then drives to Pokhara .Overnight in Pokhara hotel.
Day 16: Fly back to Kathmandu, leisure, evening farewell Nepali dinner.
Day 17: transfer to airport, fly onward destination.
