Poon Hill Trek – 3 Days Tailor-Made Trip

3 Days Poon Hill trek: For travelers who have a short holiday or weekend plan to visit the Himalayas for 3 days, this Poon Hill trek is the best option. It is a short and family-friendly trek in Nepal. The trek is relatively easy and yet, filled with adventurous thrill. It is suitable for those who are reasonably fit.

We begin 3 days Poon hill trek after a two-hour drive through knobby roads to Nayapul from Pokhara. We begin walking to Ulleri via Tikhedhunga village. The very next day from Ulleri, we continue trekking through the rhododendron forests to Ghorepani village, which is the highlight of our trip as we get there by walking through pretty tough uphill and downhill trails, via streams, jungles, and farming lands.

Ghorepani is a beautiful and prepossessing village with nice and homely lodges, friendly people, and the view of the great range of Annapurna looming about throughout the year.

3 days of hiking to Poon Hill will make you witness a beautiful and spectacular sunrise view from Poon Hill (3,250 m) as well as the brilliant views of the Himalayas including the Annapurna range, and Mount Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Mount Fishtail, and many more white snow-capped mountains.

Discover amazing views with every hike especially with an early morning hike to Poon Hill in order to witness the grand views of the spectacular Himalayan range. Along with the sunrise which will surely be the highlight of the trip. Poon Hill is truly one of the best viewpoints in the Annapurna region and also one of the best viewpoints in the world.

Please do not forget to bring a Torch Light for the Poon Hill hike. On the second day, the hike will be early in the morning around 4:30 AM from Ghorepani village to Poon Hill viewpoint to see the grand sunrise and the breathtaking Himalayas. Bookings are open for the years 2023, and 2024, contact us for special cost, itinerary, and departure dates.

We take great pride in taking care of our guests

Family friendly Poon Hill trek

Alpine Eco Trek met our expectations and more on a one and a half week trip to Nepal. I can particularly recommend them to travelers with children, we took our 11 year old son with us and guide Ram and porter Dhansing made his time fun and memorable. On our trek, they happily played football, cricket, running races, volleyball and a tabletop me I do not know the name of Ram made sure everything ran smoothly, taking care of us, nothing was too much trouble. The trip was great value compared to UK based tours, Chitwan National Park very good, Kathmandu colorful and interesting, our 3 day trek to Poon Hill was fabulous, but particularly for our son getting to know Ram and Dhansing will be what we remember most. The tour was private so we were not in a large trekking group. We booked from the UK, emails were answered quickly and the tour exceeded our expectations. If we ever go back we would be sure to go with Alpine Eco Trek, maybe Annapurna base camp next time.

The best

We did 3 days of Poon Hill trek last March and it has been one of the best experiences in Nepal. Ram and his team are so nice, well-trained and worried about everything with us. One thing I must say is that they remained with a partner of mine who was asthmatic and could not do the hiking at the same speed as we did. He was with her, it does not matter if it was raining cat and dogs, always with her. All of us agree that we could not choose a better agency to be with those days. Thank you.
