Everest Base Camp Comfort Trek Overview

Everest Base Camp comfort trek is one of the best trekking trips for a non-elite climber to witness the beauty of the world’s highest summit, Mt. Everest up close. The first-ever invaders of this trek, Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary in 1953 set a record for successfully climbing the summit and since then, climbing the Everest Base Camp has been an ultimate goal for the Mountaineers. The trip is designed in such a way that the trek needs basic physical fitness since it is challenging, however, it is not exhausting. The itinerary includes enough acclimatization days to ensure better, smoother, and more enjoyable trekking experience with a local Sherpa guide.

Everest Base Camp Comfort Trek begins from Lukla and the trail passes through the Everest National Park offering some of the most breathtaking views of the Khumbu region including Mount Everest (8848 m). The routes lead us towards the Phakding village which has a great ambiance to spend a night in. En route, we experience and explore the enchanting views of the overwhelmingly beautiful mountains making our way through an abundance of forests and wildlife including Musk Deer, Mountain goats are also known as Himalayan Thar, wild yaks, snow leopards, etc. The trail takes us to Namche Bazaar via Everest National Park which has a wide range of flora and fauna. The National Park also offers an opportunity to watch different species of birds.

Namche Bazaar is one of the most happening places in the region and is preferred by many tourists for spending a night here and exploring the traditions and cultures of the Sherpa people. After a straight two days stay in Namche, we hike up to Tengboche, a very popular place known for its monastery passing through Dingboche, Lobuche and Gorakshep which have beautiful alpine villages which are worth visiting. We continue our way to Kala Patthar as it has better and clear visibility of the world-famous peak, Mt. Everest. As we reach our destination, the accomplishment of the trek feels like a lifetime achievement and the joy seems to be exploding through each of our veins.

The most favorable season to enjoy Everest Base Camp Comfort Trek for 12 days is from March to May and October to December. This is a full tea house-based trekking and the highest elevation of the trek is 5,545 meters which is the Everest Base Camp itself.
