Ali airport is located near Gunsa village of Shiquanhe Town and about 165 kilometers away by aerial distance. On the other hand, the road distance is 330 km which takes one day drive to reach Darchen, the base camp of Mount Kailash.

13 days Lhasa Kailash Ali Lhasa Adventure
We did Lhasa Kailash Ali Lhasa 13 day tour with Alpine Eco Trek. Our guide was Dawa and the driver was Norbu. Dawa is an awesome guide, passionate about Tibet Kailash and his profession. He treated us like his family members. Dawa went above and beyond to take care of one of the members who was physically struggling to finish Kailash Kora. The driver did not speak English, however, he was equally supportive so that we had a great experience. Some days he started to drive very early so we can accomplish everything listed on schedule on time.Ram Kumar, the owner of this company is extremely good at his role. He was our point of contact from beginning to end. There were some hiccups with last-minute visa permits policies change, but Ram was very prompt in addressing it and fixing it. We would recommend Alpine Eco Trek to family and friends.
