10 days Annapurna Circuit trek

We engaged Alpine Eco Trek for our 10 days trek to Annapurna Circuit. We had Ramesh as our guide for our group. Ramesh is very professional, flexible and a knowledgeable guide to be with. He is very passionate in what he does and takes pride in sharing about Nepal and her beautiful mountains, unique cultures and lifestyle of locals.

He continuously supports and encourages us throughout the trek and that makes things easier for our group and made it a far way more enjoyable trip. We highly recommend Alpine Eco Trek and Ramesh and will look forward to do more hikes with them in the future.

One of my best experiences

I just got back from 6 days in Bhutan and really loved it. I flew into Paro, went to Thimpu, then Punakha and back to Paro. The trip and the country were great, and I would recommend it to all. I went alone, and as such paid a bit more but it was worth having both a car driver and guide for that price. Of course, the guide spoke good English.

Each day I decided exactly what I wanted to do and where to go and did just that. I cannot recommend enough this tour, and this travel agency. They were outstanding. They also love to work with small groups. I want to go back.

Excellent tour operator in Kathmandu

We googled to find the best tour operator for a tour that would meet our needs. Fortunately, we found Alpine Eco Trek, a perfect tour operator. After reading some reviews of this company, we thought, we mostly go with them. We have been on many tours and this was by far the best. Our tour guide Sarjan was perfect. He showed us all the highlighted sites and he never tired of our endless questions. We enjoyed our whole tour to Nepal with Alpine Eco Trek and their excellent guide Mr. Sarjan. Highly recommended.

Panchase Hill Trekking, best alternative trek in the Annapurna areas

I contacted Mr. Ram, a manager of Alpine Eco Trek and discussed with him which trekking route would fit the best to my expectations. Ram made a very good impression on me. He knows the Annapurna region very well and he is an enthusiastic manager. He said that Panchase Hill trekking could be the right trek for me. It sounded really good and I immediately agreed to his proposal. We started our trek from Pokhara hiking first to World Peace Pagoda then to Tarebhir, Panchase Bhanjang, and Australian Base Camp. 5 days later we ended our trek at Sarangkot viewpoint with a magic sunrise spectacle on the Annapurna Himalayas. The trek was amazing. We met very few other tourists during our beautiful nature walk. We stayed at a lovely local homestay. That was really special and I enjoyed very much the time with my friendly hosts in their homes. Ram was a great guide. He took care of me so well. He is a polite and respectful person. I highly recommend his company Alpine Eco Trek and his services to everyone who wishes to enjoy beautiful Nepal.

Adventure horse riding trip to Upper Mustang on our late 70s

Our trip to Nepal was certainly a highlight of the year for me. There were many new experiences and challenging adventures. And above all spending time with Ram, Saroj, Shambu and Amit, and others we met there made it most meaningful. I always speak highly of Alpine Eco Trek and I am happy to tell others about the unique region of Upper Mustang. I am happy to talk to any potential customers who want to know more about our experience. Besides email, they can call me at 1 845 679 5750. I have not planned to travel anywhere this coming year. I must focus on completing some major repairs on my house. I hope to see Polly in the spring or summer. She lives about 8 hours drive from me. Right now she is very busy with her dog sledding business, taking people on a day or overnight trips on the frozen lakes in the state of Maine in the Northeast of the country with her dogs pulling sleds. There is a lot of snow there already and the lakes have frozen. There is snow here too where I live in the Catskill Mountains of New York. I am not likely to see Judy since she lives on the other side of North America, in Canada, a great distance from here. But she sends many emails and she is just as active as usual. Quite an amazing woman. I don’t know if I sent you any of my photos taken on our trip so I will send some in a separate email. I send best wishes to you and your family and to Saroj, Shambu and Amit …I hope this year will bring you many visitors and that your lives will be happy and healthy. I hope good fortune for all of Nepal, a land of great diversity, stunning landscapes and warm friendly people. Namaste.

A unique horse riding trip to the Upper Mustang region of NEPAL

My friend who had been on several horse riding trips in wilderness areas suggested I join her on a trip to the remote Upper Mustang Region of Nepal. I was impressed immediately when Ram Kumar responded to each of my questions and provided detailed information regarding our proposed trip, clearly defining the expenses and accommodations. Our group was comprised of three friends (two of us in our late 70’s) and two mid-twenties medical students from Europe. Ram met each of us as we landed in Kathmandu and brought us to the hotel that he had chosen for us. Ram selected Saroj, one of his main guides, who brought along 2 assistants (porters). They had all worked together many times and were friends from Ram’s village. Since we were riding we also had two horse-men. Together we became a family as Saroj suggested we would be in order to ensure a successful and happy expedition. Saroj was in touch with Ram daily, our route was adjusted as we traveled from village to village and every detail and need was attended to. An added benefit to our trip was spending time before and after the journey with Ram. Both he and our guide, Saroj, had so much passion for their country, extensive knowledge of the history and culture, and a genuine interest in us as their clients. I highly recommend Alpine Eco Trek to provide professional, experienced and personal service to create an excellent expedition.
