Originally, one of our team leaders comes from this village so we have a vast knowledge of Fulkharka village. About a 190 km drive from Kathmandu; Fulkharka is located northwest of Kathmandu valley. The beautiful village lies on the flank of a 3,500m mountain at the base of Ganesh Himal and next to Manaslu.

As the village lies on the border of two ethnic territories, they have a mixed practice of Hindu and Buddhist communities. Fulkharka means ‘Flower Garden‘. The village is occupied by more than 500 houses and populated mainly by the Adhikari which is one of the highest and most reputed families in Nepal. The village is quite beautiful and scenic.

Drive from Kathmandu to Tenkhande via Dhadingbesi. We will walk to dadathok village where we stay overnight at local house as home stay. You will enjoy short walking with glimpse of Manaslu and Genesh Himal.

Morning explore the beautiful surrounding. Afternoon, hike to Ganga Jamuna hillside. Ganga Jamuna is a holiest site in Dhading district from where we can enjoy the views of the local landscapes. Twin water falls are another great attraction of the Ganga Jamuna. Evening come back to dadathok. Overnight at a typical house.

Visit School and other local government buildings. Have lunch and then hike up to Pokhara Village. This is a beautiful Tamang village. The camping site offers magnificent view of Ganesh Himal.
