Mera Peak Climbing
Mera Peak Climb 18 days is a non-technical high-altitude trip in the Everest region of Nepal best suited for both professional and inexperienced climbers. We organize the Mera Peak climbing trip from Kathmandu, flying to Lukla and trekking all the way to Khare, after having an extra day for acclimatization at Khare we continue our trip to Mera peak base camp. After training and acclimatization, we will summit the top of the amazingly charming peak.
The captivating and thrilling Mera Peak (6476m) is a scenically stunning mountain and is popular among climbers and trekkers as it is the highest trekking peak in Nepal in the Everest region. Lying proud and high on the edge of the famous Khumbu Region and dominated by Mt. Everest, conquering Mera peak is an opportunity for all physically fit adventure lovers. As you lift your eyes upon conquering Mera and the mighty frieze of the world’s 8000-meter Mountains- Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse, Cho-Oyu, and many other peaks with the clouds looming above will truly be a sight to behold.
The Mera Peak climbing commences following a short flight to the tiny airstrip of Lukla that is thrilling during the entire 40-minute flight. A trek for days on the steep trails through the high and lovely valleys, we will eventually get to the area of Mera Peak. In terms of altitude, conquering the Mera peak is quite physically demanding. However, the climb on Mera Peak is not technically difficult as ascending snow slopes rarely exceed 35 degrees. The only qualification you need to ascend Mera peak is an excellent physical condition and an extrovert sense of adventure accompanied by zeal and enthusiasm.
We have put together the Mera peak itinerary carefully in order to allow gradual acclimatization for the climbers. Initially, the trail takes us through the virgin forests of the incredibly beautiful Hinku Valley, which is also an excellent place to stop for acclimatizing ourselves to the peak itself. Our unrivaled service, quality equipment, hygienic food, dedicated trekking staff, and an experienced leader will ensure that your Mera peak climbing trip will be a thrilling and adventurous memory in Nepal that will last a lifetime.

Mera Peak Climbing – Our dream come true
Ram, thank you so much for your top-notched arrangements for our trekking and Mera Peak climbing in 2016. It was our second experience with Alpine Eco Trek and Expeditions and we were truly satisfied with your service. Your company and staffs were always ready to listen to us and meet our needs. Last year, we climb Island peak, which was a great experience on Nepal Peak to us and so, this time we decide to climb Mera Peak. Mera Peak is a non-technical peak, and but it was challenging to us that it was great and adventure to us what we expect also having great scenery of the World’s highest peak Mount Everest, Mount Cho Oyu, Mount Makalu of Mahalangur Himalayan range. We (Me and my friends) climbing Mera Peak successfully on April 25, 2016, with the help of our great team of Sherpa guide, Karma Sherpa and porters. After successfully climbing Mera Peak, we think we will conquer the whole world. Alpine Eco Trek was perfectly organized to ensure the climber’s safety as well as the successful summit climbing. We were impressed by Ram’s high standards in his expertise and leadership. We highly recommend you all who want to visit Nepal, and then you should choose Ram’s team at Alpine Eco Trek.
