2 Nights 3 Days Wildlife Safari in Chitwan National Park

Jungle Safari in Chitwan National Park: The chitwan national park is one of the beautiful, thrilling, and exciting Nepalese very first national parks, this ‘ World Heritage Nature Site’ declared by UNESCO is situated in the central development region covering an area of 932 sq.

Chitwan National Park is the home to more than 500 Asian one-horned rhinoceros and Royal Bengal Tigers. This is also the home to around 600 plant species, 50 mammals, 526 birds, and 49 amphibians and reptiles. For jungle safari Royal Chitwan National park is famous.

Here you will travel through open grassland and dense forest on elephant back and while doing this you will come across different wild animals including rhinos, different kinds of deer, wild boars, and in rare cases, tigers.

Another way you can experience this wild world is by a 4-wheel drive jeep. By jeep or elephant back, you can go deep into the heart of the park, viewing some of the rare species of flora and fauna.

You can also go on foot into the park escorted by our well-trained naturalist who will interpret to you the concealed secrets of the jungle. You will have a great opportunity to see many species of birds including waterfowl, Brahminy ducks, pintails, bar-headed geese, cormorants, woodpeckers, hornbills, and peacocks, peahens, floricans, red-headed trogons, and many others.

We organize 2 nights and 3 days of Chitwan jungle safari packages in Chitwan national park. If you have a short time you can do 1 night and 2 days trip as well or if you have time you can extend your safari package to 3 nights and 4 days or 4 nights and 5 days as well.

Another activity in the park is the boat-canoe trip down the Rapti and the Narayani Rivers. This is one of the more serene ways to explore the area as float downstream with the river’s flow.

On the outskirts of Chitwan you can the Tharu community, and see their artistically decorated thatched huts, their typical dance, and how they manage life next to the national park. A Chitwan jungle safari is certainly an adventure that the whole family can enjoy.

Fly from Kathmandu or Pokhara to Bharatpur airport and transfer to the hotel or drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara to Chitwan, Sauraha in a tourist bus. After driving for 5 hours, we will reach Chitwan and check-in at the hotel nearby National Park. After lunch, a short visit around the Tharu villages will allow us to observe their lifestyle. In the evening, we will attend the Tharu Culture Show followed by dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

On the second day of our safari, we will go for full-day jungle activities inside the Chitwan national park. After breakfast we will go for a thrilling canoe trip on the Rapti river, a Jungle walk to see some wild animals and will visit the elephant breeding centre, then the Elephant bathing site. By noon we will come to the hotel for a delicious lunch. After lunch, we will go for a Jeep safari which is the main attraction of our today's activities. During the jeep safari, we can observe One-Horned Rhinos, Tigers (depending on our luck) several species of birds, crocodiles and different vegetations. Drive back to the hotel, dinner and overnight in a cosy room.

Wake up a bit early and get ready for the bird watching tour inside the national park. After the birdwatching tour, back to the hotel, have a hot set of breakfast and transfer to the airport or bus station for your onward journey. We will arrange a tourist bus drive either to Kathmandu or to Pokhara or if you are taking the flight we can manage the flight tickets from Bharatpur airport to Pokhara or to Kathmandu. End service.

Accommodation during 3 days safari in Chitwan

Accommodation will be in one of the finest hotels or resorts in Sauraha located nearby the National park. And, the rooms will be twin or double en-suite with tiled attached bathrooms with hot and cold showers around the clock. We chose a hotel/resort that features a swimming pool, free WIFI, a beautiful garden, and concierge service.  We assure you all rooms have air conditioning, fridge, television and balcony for your comfortable stay.

Food and Drinks

Our Safari trip to Chitwan National Park is based on a full board basis. Our hotel and resort have a large dining room with an extensive buffet and a range of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A mix of international dishes and local Nepali cuisine is available in our hotel and resort. If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know while finalizing your booking with us, we will do our best to make sure your needs are met.

Transportations

The fastest way to get to Chitwan is to catch a flight from Kathmandu or Pokhara to Bharatpur. Domestic airlines such as Buddha Air and Yeti Airlines are flying directly from Kathmandu and Pokhara to Bharatpur from 8.00 am to 3.30 pm on a daily basis. A 30-minute flight to reach Bharatpur and a 14km drive from Bharatpur airport to Chitwan National Park is the best option to avoid 5 hour-long drive on the roads.

A 5-hour journey to Chitwan on a tourist bus operating every day from Kathmandu and Pokhara is another option to reach National Park. On our 3 days safari package, the transportation on a tourist bus either from Kathmandu or Pokhara is included. At your request, we can arrange a private car/van or a flight to Chitwan National park at an extra cost.

Amazing 2 Nights and 3 days wildlife safari in Chitwan National park

My wife and I did the 2 nights and 3 days wildlife safari package in Chitwan National Park with Alpine Eco Trek. The hotel was excellent, great ambiance, the staff is really friendly, attentive and we laugh a lot. Everything was perfect and well organized, so it was a great moment. We saw Elephant, Crocodile, Rhino, and Tiger. Thank you, Ram, for organizing this beautiful trip for us, we will come back again one day in future for the Annapurna base camp trek, off course with Alpine Eco Team.
