Karnali River Rafting
- Customize My Trip
We organize the Karnali River rafting expedition. For the seven days and 180 kilometers on this Karnali River rafting, we will encounter some incredible white water with nerve-racking rapids such as God’s House, Juicer, and Jailhouse, just to name a few. On the flats, we can let go of our fear of falling out of our raft. We just relax and look around to see one of the last places in Nepal with an old-growth forest and maybe even spot some wildlife.
The Karnali also supports some of the finest fish habitats with giant catfish and Golden Masheer prowling the depths so we might bring some fishing gear just in case! For kayaking, the Karnali is also an amazing river where we can cut loose on some big water and rapids, or if we feel intimidated we can always take the sneak lines or just cruise on the raft. All this also comes with pristine beaches for camping and miles of beautiful scenery.
Do not miss to join this trip if you want a true expedition-style adventure and a totally classic river journey.

We see the rapids dying off as we come out of the gorge. We pass the confluence with the Seti River where the river broadens. Today, the next day and a half is a chance to enjoy your journey admiring the country and villages you pass. You will have seen the safety kayakers in action and will no doubt be inspired, so ask the guides for some supervised instruction, or take over the raft and learn about the river. You see there is more to a rafting expedition than just rafting.
